Yung Kong Metal Works Co. Bhd. had obtained her first certification of Quality Management System in 2020. 2 years later, this certification was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000.  In 2010, with the release of new revision of ISO 9001:2008, the organization had managed to upgrade her certification as well. Our path of ISO 9001 does not stop at here.  Yung Kong Versatile Fence Sdn. Bhd. had joined to this family after receiving her first ISO 9001 certificate in 2012.  Today, there are 3 companies certified to ISO 9001:2015 including Yung Kong Wire Industries Sdn. Bhd.

Our steel fabric, YMC® has been certified by SIRM QAS International since 2005, complied with Malaysian Standard MS 145:2001. It has been further awarded by CIDB as certified product in 2014. Within 16 years, this product certification has been going through 2 major upgrades to MS 145:2014.

To maintain this certification, we put our best effort in ensuring quality of YMC® is always meeting the requirements of its newest revision of Malaysian Standard. This has been done through quality inspection on raw materials, during manufacturing process, and finished goods.
Besides, samples are taken from production for laboratory test every day to ensure the mechanical properties of products are complying with standards. Equipment used for testing are calibrated within designated interval to confirm their fitness of measuring. All test data are kept in system to maintain the traceability of products.

Certificates and licenses of YMC® will be renewed annually after passing the audit and laboratory test of SIRIM and CIDB.
